Phnom Penh

We really just stopped here so that we could visit the Killing Fields but had been told that it is a great city and we could stay much longer than we were.  And I am positive that is true, every where we ate was fantastic (coming back to this), staying on the Mekong was lovely and the people friendly.  But the fact is we are just not big huge city people, small cities possibly but massive ones is just not our thing.  So to be honest we did not explore to much, we kept to the Riverside area that had been recommended to us and we did have a lovely time just not fair I give to much of a critic of the city.
This maybe part of the reason we are not city people.  We left this view, on our own private balcony to arrive at...
...our room in Phnom Penh with a 'city view' for almost double the price.  To be fair this was an accurate description but still Luis went and asked and we got upgraded...
 ...to this better view.
We did have good fun the two nights that we were there and ate at some great places.  I have only really just got into using trip advisor and learnt that you can look for the best cheap eats in the area.  It means we have ate brilliantly and never more than a couple dollars.  Best discovery ever (I am so much like my Dad, always searching for a deal, not cheap just deal hunters!)!
