Back to UK

We arrived back to the UK and to unusually sunny day for this summer.  It is great to be back.  It would be great to say that we were going to take it easy the next ten days as it has been a very summer but nope it just gets more packed! 

We started day one with a catch up with Jacqui and her Dad.

We spent the afternoon having a cruise on the river.  Lovely to have a little more time here.

Traditional One Acre Dinner

Our last day we left at night time giving us a full day with the family.  We were so lucky to have this day as Laila flew in the night before and it was wonderful to catch up with her.  At night we sat around One Acre dining table having a special family dinner.  We all loved these dinners with Aunty Jillian and so happy Natalie has continued it.  I had the best three weeks, and cannot wait to return next year.

Sebastian is 4

The last full day in Barbados this trip was also Sebastian's fourth birthday!  And we gave him a great party at the beach.  Full of friends, family, body boarding and even a mermaid! He had a great day, we all did.

A wonderful day.  Sebastian had a blast and it was a great way to spend our last full day. I have to add here, Mummy made everything!

First Amandafest a Success

Thursday was the last day of Amandafest 2023.  I can say that the festival was a huge success, mainly to my wonderful friends and family here.  Thursday was the final day and I finished it first by having dinner with Nadia and family and then headed to Blakeys where it all began.

Nadia is just the best and her children are such a tribute to her.  They are so lovely.

The main players made it out for the final event.  A great 9 days but truth be told I am much more excited for my boys to come back tomorrow!

Second to Last Fest Event

Wednesday afternoon Aunty Andy wanted to get in on the festival action and we went to the Yacht club for lunch and a swim.

The sea was just amazing.

Wednesday night was cousins night.  Natalie, Vicki, Rosette and myself enjoyed a lovely meal together.  They have been so kind and generous since our arrival.  I fell lucky to have such a wonderful family.

After dinner we got the Blakeys phone call and off we went.  It was wonderful to see Kerri and Fabian out for a bit. Fabian just lost his father and well needed a little time out.
