Mr. Jones in Phuket

Just under the two month mark and we have had our second visitor, Mr. Darren Jones.  You may remember Darren, from a visit he made to me just over two years ago in Basel.  Well a lot has changed since then for me and him, two countries, a marriage for me and loads for him but one thing that has not changed is our great friendship.  It was great to see him, he not only brought over 2.5 kilos of desperately missed quinoa but also laughter and memories.  I stupidly forgot my phone on my desk at work and Luis forgot his on the sofa at home so I did not get nearly as many photos as I would have liked.  But I did manage to remember to get Darren to take a couple at the close of the evening.

But I am sure anything is a welcome break from our wedding photos!  Sadly, we did not meet his girlfriend who was spending time with her parents who joined them on holiday, just a reason to meet up again another time.

Last Wedding Pictures..Promise!

Well we made it to the church and clearly we came back to everything set up and ready to go, well almost anyways.  I have already posted loads of pictures that other people sent me but here are a few right after the ceremony that Dylan took that I just love!  I think he must have taken a few thousand and although I am glad he sent and edited the 'good ones' part of me is quite curious to see the others!  The rest I will now put together into a book of some sorts and print once I am again in a country where I can do the service on line. It has been so exciting to see Dylan's pictures and now we have seen most I would think, it feels kinda sad.  A little bit like finally the end of the wedding, although I am sure most people are wedding picture sick by now.

So that is it folks, until the next big fiesta... Hmmmm.. whose 40th is coming up next year! Yippppppeeee!!

Pre-Wedding Photos

The hours before the wedding were pretty stressful for the bride, her family and wonderful helper friends as we anxiously awaited for the tent and decorations to be finished.  Well even some sort of start would have been helpful to calm my increasing nerves that this wedding would be held in a half put up tent with falling down lights and warm drinks.  This was all happening while the Endara camp enjoyed a sea view lunch, a lovely swim and a relaxing time getting ready!  All part of being the bride, and an event planning bride who wanted it all to be perfect.  Luckily my amazing family and friends helped pull it all together, not always telling me all the details which made me love them even more, if possible.

This was at slight panic stage, where I was not really sure how it would pan out.

Over in camp Endara, everyone was excited and dolling up for the day.

In Camp One Acre, my nerves were about shot.  Even a large glass of wine did not help, nor the million frustrating phone conversations I had.

This was just before we left for the church, I was not really sure all would be done in time.  I do not know why I ever had any doubt with Aunty Jillian on the case.  We came back and everything was prefect!

Dance and Crazy Hour :)

I had a brilliant post from yesterday's Sunday brunch all lined up, but it will have to wait!!  This is far more exciting than my meeting real life Trump supporters.
Our wedding photos, done by Dylan George, and they are fantastic!! I will end up posting most I am sure but am going to start with our first dance and crazy hour ones, mainly as we have not seen many of these.  But later on this week, I will add the family ones and other amazing ones he has taken.  I am soooo happy!!!

GREAT photos!  And such a great party!
