Sebastian and Lorelei

Singapore, has definitely increased in price and I am not sure affordable for a family holiday unless you have a big budget.  But it was so worth it to spend a few days with this family.  They spoilt us rotten and we had a lovely time just hanging with them in their neighbourhood.  Sebastian loved waking up everyday with playmates, and even improved on his sharing skills!  I was so happy to spend sometime with Aloni and her family.  Sebastian will miss them tremendously when he wakes up tomorrow and they are not running in to see him, as will I.  It was great for Sebastian to reconnect with his oldest friend, and I really hope it is a life long friendship as they are so lovely together.

LOVE THEM!

The Science Centre and Beach Night

The only thing I really wanted to do was take Sebastian to the Kids Science Centre. I have such wonderful memories of the Ontario Science Centre as  child.  This was the one big excursion, we had an enjoyable morning here together before heading for an evening on the beach.  It was great to have an evening on the beach and dinner together.

Love these faces of Sebastian
The skeleton copied Sebastian's cycling.
He loved coloring in his own sea animals that then appeared on the big screen.
The Dino Dig

We both loved the typhoon immolator.

A great morning at the Science Centre, before heading to East Coast Beach.

A little digging and play on the beach before heading for dinner.

A lovely evening, even if I was never served my dinner (the wine came, so it was all good!).

Scooting Away

Today was the day that Sebastian discovered his love for Scooters.  I would not say that Bangkok is very scooter friendly, sadly, as he loves it.  We spent day two just hanging out, scooting around and enjoying food together.

Love this lady!  My biggest shock is the price increase even from four years ago.  It is crazy.  I am so thankful to be staying with friends and just doing stuff around the neighborhood, otherwise it would cost a fortune to be here!

Aloni, Morgan, Lorelei, and Melissa

I could not be happier to be spending some time with these wonderful people.  Aloni came knocking at my door days after I returned to Phuket when Sebastian was four weeks old.  Another friend who was then living back in the UK, called her as she thought I sounded down after a phone call.  Aloni came over so fast, with her three year old son Morgan and 4 week old baby Lorelei to ensure I was ok.  And that was it, we spent every day for 8 months together (well almost every day).  We have stayed in super close contact since and I am so happy to be staying with her, their nanny Melissa, her Mum and her Mum's partner for a few days.  It will be spent playing, talking, eating, talking, playing and more talking.

Day 1, a huge success.  Just a quick play at a near by play place.  They have a fabulous pool in the condo and park.  And really their excitement at the long four night sleep over is fun enough!

Paddling, Jacqui, BISP and Aloni

We had a fabulous time down South in Panwa.  Finished up the final day with some kayaking before heading North to visit at BISP, my old school in Phuket and Jacqui and family.

A great way to have him in the water without having him in the water.

Pizza and play with Jacqui and family.  It is just so wonderful how close the kids have all become.  I love them all.

Back to our old school.  A memory up in Emma's classroom of me! I left my Madonna mark!  A great short holiday.

Then we separated at the airport.  Both flights left at the sometime, Luis back to Bangkok and us to stay with Aloni and family for a few fun filled days in Singapore.  Really, we could be going anywhere, it will just be amazing to be with Sebastian's longest friends for a few days and me to be with Aloni.  Oh and I would have totally judged me if I was not me on Sebastian's plane outfit!! Haha!
