Well they did it, I was sure they would not, positive that Guy Thomas was going to have to buy me a lovely bottle of champagne when the club only lasted a month or two. But tonight I was invited to the fourth Men's beer club, basically to admit I was wrong and present them with their prizes.
I was very honoured to be invited and secretly a bit proud that our bet turned into such a successful club (think the ladies wine club can take a little credit, nothing like competition to inspire great things).
