With the Thai New Year a week away and it being the last day before a ten day break the school celebrated the upcoming holiday. Songkran festival, also known as the water festival starts on the 12th of April for four days. The official New year changed here in 1888 but the traditional one is still a huge celebration here. It will also be the first time we are actually in Thailand for it as we return from our holiday just in time for it. Sebastian wore his Songkran shirt, usually a colourful shirt of some kind. I forgot to get one!
Now counting the minutes until we are off on holiday! I cannot wait, sunshine, beaches and most importantly Maria and family here we come :)
