Mark Russo has been a great addition to Bangkok. But like most people I love here, I do not get to see them often enough. Thursday Mark had a friend in her family here from the US. Mark worked with Julie in the Peace Core in Thailand 20 years ago. He invited all of us for dinner at a Thai restaurant that was new to me. It was fabulous, a big vegetarian menu (and all of us were veggie but Mark, so he only had veggie too), and beautiful. Also Sebastian and their daughter Estelle hit it off immediately and we all had a great evening. Estelle reminded me so much of my niece, Freda. I was trying to get a full on picture of her but did not manage one. But she was great and looked so similar it was almost uncanny.
Like a younger version of Freda (Estelle just turned 7)
