Happy 2021

Happy 2021 and here is hoping it is an improvement on 2020!   We had a great night celebrating New year at London time, 7pm here.  What a great idea this was! It actually makes no difference when you do the count down and as long as all in your party are doing the same it works.  The same Christmas crew came, staying within the bubble as much as possible.  We did the Ecuadorian traditions, ran around the block with a suitcase (for safe travels in 2021), we burnt a puppet (Covid-19 Virus) and we ate the grapes at 'midnight'.

The suitcase run was brilliant.  When everyone had done it Sebastian took up the suitcase and went around on his own.  He has to be involved with everything, love it.

Usually, you burn a puppet with a face on it, last year we burnt Boris.  this year we decided to make a Corona Virus as really this was the worst thing to come out of the year by far.

A lovely night and what was even better is we were all tucked up in bed by 10pm.  I love early New year!
