Friday we woke up to pouring rain and waiting for a tropical storm, the worst which came on Saturday. We had two days entertaining Sebastian in the rain with not much else to do. One of these days with no power. Two days of this weather was definitely not we wanted for a long weekend but suppose it is out of our control.
On Saturday, Shea saved us and brought me and Sebastian in her huge truck to her small school for a play. It was amazing to get out for two hours. The flooding and winds were unbelievable. We could barely stand on our beach for more than two seconds with the pelting rain and wind. We thought for sure the entire weekend was going to be a wash out.
