When I was looking for flights back I could not find a reasonable one way ticket London-Bangkok and then one morning on Skyscanner a great deal popped up on Finnair. However, you had to spend 25 hours in Helsinki. What a win! We got here Saturday afternoon, they checked all our luggage all the way through and we stayed a night at a great hotel. The hotel was just outside the airport and a two minute walk to the train station. With a 30 minute train tho the city centre it was the perfect layover. Also, everyone was so nice and helpful to us. We spent a beautiful long evening exploring what is a beautiful city. I know there was much more to see but we saw was amazing. It also broke up a long journey and gave us a night together as a family.
All about our past adventures in and around Basel, Switzerland; Quito, Ecuador; Phuket Thailand; Grand Bahama, The Bahamas; and now back in Thailand. Featuring Amanda, Luis, Sebastian and of course Lola

Marlow Fair Day
Sebastian at first was disappointed with the lack of Legoland but luckily we were able to sell the Marlow fair in the park as an alternative. Therefore, we had a our last full day in the UK in the park and then were treated by a Marlow Sunday Roast (on a Friday). It was a great last day and it ended a litle tearful as we all said goodbye until next summers adventures.
Tio Dave was just brilliant and built this house with Sebastian. Sebastian was so proud of it.
Boat Day on the Thames
This was an incredible day. Originally we were going to go Legoland but decided it would be too crowded, Dave offered a boa day. We had such a fantastic day on the Thames. Everyone got a turn driving and it was a lovely day. We stopped for drinks and then lunch at pubs along the way. The children just had the best time and when we got off in the evening the fun continued with dinner at Pizza Express and a night out for the ladies.
