Bristol Time

Saturday we headed for Bristol for a two night stay in Fishponds.  It was great to see Paddy after missing a visit last summer.  Saturday night we had dinner together. Paddy kindly made us a masterpiece dinner.  Sunday we went to a BBQ at a friend of Nicola’s.  Holly was the host, who I met in Portugal on a working holiday 15 years ago.  It was great to catch up with her and as a bonus see England win the Eurocup finals! It was super!

We only had a week together but made some wonderful memories and Sebastian is already planning his next visit with cousin Freda.

Friday Fun

We woke up Friday to the most beautiful day and we took full advantage.  Babs and Scott took us to one of the several Newquay beaches where we had a picnic and a play.  We then headed to Porth for a beverage and kids pizza.  Luis was amazed about the amount and quality of the beaches. They are huge and beautiful.  With a wet suit I might even be able to swim the odd time.  Then we all went to the pub for dinner. It was an amazing last full day to end our 2025 Cornwall adventures.

Frankie in Falmouth

Thursday we had a day at Nicola’s great campsite and then headed to Falmouth to meet Frankie for dinner. We had a lovely little walk around and then a pizza dinner on the harbour. Luis really enjoyed Falmouth, the shops and restaurants looked great and it has the sea on both sides. It was a great day and lovely to see Frankie.  

Sebastian is 6!

I cannot thank Babs and Scott enough for making this such a perfect birthday. They brought the beautiful sunshine, organised surfing, a bbq, gift bags, a piñata and the best cake. It would have been a terrible birthday without them. I could not be more thankful for all the effort and care they put in. I am so lucky to have them.  Nicola and Freda being there was amazing and we all had a great day celebrating.
