Last night Luis and myself were invited to celebrate Diwali at the Indian Embassy. We both teacher the ambassador's daughter. It was such a lovely event, we were so honoured to be invited. There was five teachers there in total and the ambassador was so thrilled we were there. He said in Indian culture teachers are very much valued and seen as one of the most important professions in society. It was just lovely.
A bit of dancing, food and a great experience.
