Last night Janelle and family hosted Friendsgiving. I love an event in our building and even the odd time I am happy when someone else is hosting it! Every year they hold a Friendsgiving dinner, this year was even bigger than last years. Loads of great people and food to share. It was so big that the hosting spilled a little to me and we had the children watching a movie at ours after dinner. It reminded me of the days when my parents would host a party and all the children hung out in the basement. I feel like this year we have not spent a lot of time socializing with people outside of our building (besides Nadia). The first half of the term I was a consumed with Lola and school gets busy. So it was super nice to see some faces that I haven’t seen properly for a while.
