Menjangan, Bali

A short flight, a very short sleep in an airport holiday, the most beautiful 4 hour drive, a 30 minute boat ride and we arrived in the most amazing spot.  Bali has always been our favourite spot in Asia (well and Myanmar) but people warned me that Bali had exploded with tourists in recent years.  Challenge accepted.  I found this gem in a magazine somewhere. I would say 20 other people in this small resort. The only one in this National Park.  There are loads of deer and monkeys that roam freely. Not scared at all of people. And the black monkeys are so sweet. Not like some of our past experience with monkeys. The water is crystal clear and the fish abundant.  And to just make it more amazing they have a huge vegetarian/vegan menu. And the best vegan breakfast I have ever had.  Sebastian was fairly sick for day one but luckily day two woke up ready to explore.
