I am thankful now to both be in the same decade as Luis celebrated his actual 40th birthday yesterday. It was the start of his 'Year of Adventures', the gift that me and Sebastian gave him. These adventures will start tonight as we head to Bali! He was super excited about this surprise. This has been a long ten weeks at school and for Luis even longer. NIST is a hard school, particularly for a fairly new teacher. But he has done amazing and I am super proud of him. We are now all looking forward to the end of school, a rush to the airport and hopefully catching our flight (not sure why I always like to book things so close to the wire).
Last night we celebrated his birthday with a dinner at ours. It was fabulous as I did not cook any of it. Chris did and it was delicious. He had some lovely gifts and felt certainly felt a lot of love this last week.
