We were back just in time to celebrate David's birthday, as we are so happy that they are here. The hardest thing about our job is being away from family and friends. Honestly, I am nearing the end of the desire to be away, or certainly I would like to be a short flight away. For Luis, he has only just got qualified and has landed a job at a school a teacher waits a decade to get an interview at. So, he is not as in a big rush to leave. And to be fair, I did a lot of persuading to get him to do all the hard work to enter the industry. Anyways, what has helped his cause is Nadia and family moving a five minute walk away. It is great having them here, and we were all excited to celebrate David's birthday with him. They put on quite the amazing spread. I thought I was sort of an expert on Indian food, we have loads of regional restaurants here and an amazing selection. Turns out I missed out a region, and it was amazing (will have to ask the name again). I think I am still full now, and it is Monday afternoon...
