Hopkin Love

The Hopkin family are pretty special and I feel honoured to be considered part of their family.  It is so super relaxing to be there and I just love it.

Marlow UK

Finally, I got a charger for my laptop, I almost have bloggers withdrawal.  Arrived very late Tuesday night to beautiful Lock Island but still to a very warm welcome and even a to do list for Wednesday.  The weather has amazingly held this long and I have woken up the last two days to stunning sunshine.  The island is always a great place to visit, recharge, chill and catch up with one of the three most important families (as referenced in my Dad's wedding speech) to me.

Really the most magical place to wake up in!
Finally a British pub, it has been way too long
 Loved this sign
I have never seen England brown before, all the grass is gone, I can't believe this weather!

The world of International Teaching means that it is highly likely that you know someone everywhere you go.  Great to have lunch with these two today, a baby for them any day now.
Roy chilling with the neighbours dog.  Dogs are just wonderful.
Clearly this is meant to say Marlow Lock but I quite like that it has worn a bit to now say Marlow Luck, as I feel this is way more suited.  A lovely relaxing time, much needed!

Mamaia Beach

Bright blue skies, hot weather, loads of people watching and lots of great friends made Mamaia a lovely few days.  To see so many friends from Basel was great and that Des and Cody made the effort to make a trip here was so special.
There were some pretty banging night clubs, especially this one.

Black Sea.  I put my feet in but it was a little cold for me.

Just a few more from the wedding.  A great time had and now on to England for more adventures.

Maria's Wedding

I would have had a milion pictures by now, of the beach, wedding prep, Cody and Des but I have lost my phone.  I do not wish to dwell on it but it is most annoying.  This means I will add photos probably in the wrong order as I try to get them from other people.
The wedding was amazing, I had a lovely time.  Cody and Des have been the best and so happy they are here.  Altogether it has been fabulous.

More to come when I get a hold of other photos!

Bucharest

Seems like I am having a B holiday, which is great as we all know B is the best letter.  I have left Barbados to come to Bucharest and will also be checking off Buckinghamshire, Bristol, Bruton, really I just needed to fit Basel in some where and it would have been perfect.  However, many of my Basel friends are here in Bucharest for Maria and Doug's wedding, so no need this trip..
I arrive yesterday evening after an exhausting day and night of traveling but once I saw everyone was wide awake and had a great first night.

Some images of old Bucharest.  Lovely place, so beautiful and then some old communist buildings in between.

Fun dinner to kick off the whole event

 The fabulous couple!
Mini Prosecco!! Maria's little sister, who is not so little any more and just beautiful!!
Now off for some food and then the beach :)

Until the Next Time...

I have so little time to write anything, been running around on my last day and have to leave soon for the airport.  I have had a wonderful trip (no surprises there), it was definitely what the doctor ordered and I can't believe it has gone so fast.
On Tuesday night Amy and John took me to Cast Aways for a great dinner.  I was so impressed to see several vegan items, a different menu from the last time I went.

I love these two and we just had a great night.  And yesterday was super busy, boat, beach and football.  Sadly, it was not a great end to the football but we all had a great day.

The dancing was amazing, just loved it as always.
I went on this inflatable thing with the kids.  It was so fantastic to hear all their laughter.  Never mind Connor trying to tip us the whole time.

We then went to watch football and saw other family there celebrating Andrew's birthday.  A lovely last day here!  Romania here I come!!
