Rest of WOMAD

Sunday we woke up to grey sky's and eventually a bit of rain.  But what would a festival be without a little mud.  And thanks to Nicola we were all prepared with waterproofs and warm clothes.  The day was full of workshops, crafts, soca dancing and ending with Sebastian passed out in the Cider tent.

These two had the best time ever, as did we all.  It was Luis's first festival, well and Sebastian's and it will not be their last.

WOMAD Saturday

We woke up to the most amazing unexpectedly sunny day.  It was a great day full of music, more amazing food, a dance at the Moon and loads more fun crafts from the World of Children.

Jen and Robin, Robin is a super star and it was so good to finally meet him!

WOMAD 2023 Day 1 and 2

This has been a huge busy summer for everyone but particularly Luis and Sebastian.  They have been to the opposite side of the world to Bangkok and back again.  And they have now completed their first camping trip and festival.  WOMAD 2023 was amazing, full of dancing, food, crafts and so much fun.  Sebastian loved sleeping in a tent for the four nights.  We all loved the vibe and especially being with the Hopkin/Fisk crew and my sister and family.  There are about a million great pictures, these are just a few from Day 1 and Day 2.

After the set up on Thursday we headed into the festival.  A great first evening.  Luis was blown away by it all.

Our firs full day was full of rides, food, dancing, making crafts and a lot of laughter.
