Saturday was the last vertical series at the Bangkok One, 50% percent more stairs at 1600. Basically a 100 floor run. It was so disappointing, but I suppose a learning curve. It was packed out with all the big stair climbers and I came 6th in my age group, and 7th overall female. But the top 5 were all within 15 seconds. When you are going up you cannot judge how you are doing as they send you up in waves and no one around you. I was not as tired as I thought I would be and should have gone a bit harder. A learning curve! But no one could be more disappointed then Sebastian. He actually came to this one and was so upset when he learnt that there was no trophy. It was soul destroying!
