This was an incredible day. Originally we were going to go Legoland but decided it would be too crowded, Dave offered a boa day. We had such a fantastic day on the Thames. Everyone got a turn driving and it was a lovely day. We stopped for drinks and then lunch at pubs along the way. The children just had the best time and when we got off in the evening the fun continued with dinner at Pizza Express and a night out for the ladies.
We are so lucky to have Tanya and family in our lives. We were originally planning to go to Europe to see them this summer. Upon hearing this, Tanya asked where she could meet us and immediately booked a trip to Marlow. Three summers running we have met up, it has jus been so special. They arrived on Wednesday soon after we returned from our London adventure. As an added bonus Rebecca Green came for dinner too. Rebecca had met them in Barbados two years prior. What a great catch we all had and what a better place to all meet then Lock Island with Denny. I told Rebecca she should visit us in Thailand and by 10pm that night she had booked her trip!
Monday we made our way back to Marlow for the last leg of our UK holiday. Tuesday we got up early and headed to London for one night. We were lucky that Vicki also happened to be in London and we enjoyed a tour given by her. We also met up with Michelle and had a great time catching up with her. She found a pop up museum for us to visit, all about optical illusions. At the end we went to a Science show. It was very funny as we go to a similar one in Thailand, but health and safety is very different there and it made the London one very tame for Sebastian. We then all had lunch and headed on our tour. Vicki knows so much about London, so it was perfect. We spent the night in Convent Garden and were also able to catch up with Nic and Sam.
