Sebastian and Mummy Adventure Monday

After school on Monday I took Sebastian for an adventure.  He was pretty tired and looked like he might be hard to please.  But I fell across an amazing place and we had a great time.  He pretty much had the place to himself and took adventure of this fact for almost two hours.  It was great.

Fast food career over with this shot.

Finishing it off with a vegan dog.  He was so tired, slept for twelve hours!

Lola's Pram and Park Day

Lola got a life changing pram.  Last weekend we went to the mall and they had a dog fair, loads of dogs everywhere in a pram.  I knew we needed one.  Lola will be 17 in a few days and although she is still young at heart her legs disagree.  It is sometimes hard for her to go too far.  This has been a game changer.  She can now walk with us to the park and all around without getting tired and needing to be carried.

We had a great run around and Lola was very pleased with her morning.

We then went for lunch at a place that has so much for kids.  They get the meal for free, balloons, face painting, and crafts.  Sebastian had a great time.

And ended the weekend meeting one of my great friend Amy's friend for a drink.  Lovely to make new connections.

Back to Dinner Parties

After a three month break from entertaining, we are back at it.  We started back with old reliable Mexican with another family in the building. Felicity is in the wine club and one of their three children is in Sebastian's class.  It was chaotic, Sebastian is not the best at sharing yet but he did relent after a few tears.  They actually ended up playing brilliantly, a very happy sight to see.

Dinner done and dusted by 7:30pm.  That was a first for me!

November Wine

It seems wine club has taken on a different context here.  It has become literally about drinking wine and less about the tasting.  Although, I am going to try and bring it back to tasting next month, I must say it is enjoyable!  On Thursday we had three ladies in charge of the night and it was all about relaxing, drinking wine and making friends.

Some of us took this way too seriously which might of made Friday tougher than normal.  I am happy to announce another good turn out and hope this continues.

Halloween Hell

Never ever again!! I hate sugar and I have no idea why it is not banned.  Well certainly sweets or other items marketed towards young children.  They just cannot handle it, it is like poison.  Sebastian was so tired yesterday after school celebrations.  But equally super excited about Halloween in our building.  And it was nice to see people dressed up (albeit not him who was done with it all) but all the children were tired and ready to lose it.  Sebastian had two small candies and was a crying mess.  I have never seen anything like it.  By this morning all signs of Halloween were gone.  And our house back to normal.  Bring on Christmas!

He was done with ghost of chase at this point.  So I tried to throw something together.

The building did a great job.  Very generous.

Moments before he lost it.  Check this next year this time to see me eating all my words!

The Ghost of Chase

Sebastian was very excited about Halloween and his costume The Ghost of Chase.  He decided on it without any prompting, but do not worry he is not quite that morbid, he has been watching a show that has nice ghost pups.  He then linked the ghost idea with his love for Chase.  He had three events to attend, one big one at school on Sunday, the actual day at school on Monday and then Monday night at our building.

Sunday event Number one was a success!

Before the Halloween fun we had lunch with Jacqui who was in town for a conference.  So happy to have her so close by.

He was so happy to go to the event.

Apparently this is not my first time as a jail bird!
