Back to The Bahmas

We left Ecuador on the 4th of July to spend our last three nights in Freeport. It was very weird to be back, most we knew were gone already and our house was so empty.  We spent the last few days packing, cleaning and spending time with the friends that were still there.  I was so happy Megan had not gone away for the summer as we adore her, especially Sebastian.  She will be missed by us for sure.

Last dinner with some wonderful friends in one of our favorite spots.

Ecuador Birthday Party

We could not leave without celebrating Sebastian's third birthday party, albeit a bit early.  The theme was Paw Patrol meets Peppa Pig.

Cake and pinata made by mummy with love.  The party was a huge success and he was so happy.

Party Prep and Mr. Joy

Friday was a busy day getting ready for the big party and playing at Mr. Joy.  Mr. Joy in a play area in a nearby mall.  It is for both adults and kids and was so much fun.  I was exhausted after an hour and a half of chasing Sebastian and playing on the giant slides.  This was followed by cake making and party prepping.

It was so fun and wish I had more phohtos.

Police, Markets and Indian

On Thursday we went into the city to get a few things and ran into roadblocks.  Sebastian loves the police and was excited to get his picture with them.  I then took him to the indigenous market and explained that we were actually siding with them.

And here we are.  The strikes actually ended shortly after these photos.  The price of petrol and diesel has been decreased and promises have been made regarding rainforest destruction.  I suspect more protests will follow and I hope the government sticks to their promises.
We then went to a gym to see one of Luis's friends and Sebastian had his first workout.

Finally, we stopped at an Indian for lunch.  Sebastian loved it.
