Yesterday was a beach day at Diamonds. I must say a 'staycation' is a lot less work than traveling, especially these days. We would usually go somewhere even for a week break but these last two years meant that this was too short a time (and well places were closed!). We are loving these week breaks of just chilling in our spot. Megan's Mum came for a week and it was a perfect excuse to host a beach day.
All about our past adventures in and around Basel, Switzerland; Quito, Ecuador; Phuket Thailand; Grand Bahama, The Bahamas; and now back in Thailand. Featuring Amanda, Luis, Sebastian and of course Lola

Owl's Hole
On Monday we had our first adventure with Sebastian and Alex in school. We went to Owl's hole and then the beach. It was a rough journey, a lot of walking, and a big sunburn but totally worth it. I cannot believe it took us so long to get there. I also cannot believe I went in, and it was freezing.

Fixing Truck and Hanging with Friends
We have been looking after Bruce's truck while he is away, badly I may add, as Saturday it would not start. But Sebastian was on it, he went to get his tools and went straight over to fix it. This was well rewarded as when we called Bruce to tell him, he gave the truck to Sebastian ;).
With a few hits of the hammer and turning of the wheel he got Bruce's truck started up again.
His day continued to be magical as he had a playdate with Alex and they had a great time (between all the take turns and sharing tears).

Sports Day and Holiday
Friday was also our school's sports day and the last day of school before half term. I love sports day and seeing the children in a different light. They were so supportive of each other, it was all volunteer (no one forced to do anything) and all participated. They were so supportive of each other and the people coming in last got far more applause than first place. After we headed to the beach to kick off the week-long break. My one surprise guest has turned to two, so very excited!
100 Days of School
Sebastian had his first 100 days of school party on Friday. They were told to create their own t-shirts in celebration. I am quite positive he is the only one who did that! I was tempted to get involved but let him do it himself. It had two bottles of paint on it, loads of taped on googly eyes. And was beyond brilliant
The talent is undeniable!
