Sebastian and his Baby Buds

Yesterday Sebastian and myself hosted the mummy and baby group at our house.  It was such a lovely day and it is safe to say that Sebastian is a social butterfly just like him mummy.

I could not decide what ones to post, so I posted them all.  So thankful for these wonderful ladies and their baby girls!

Happy 14th Lola Cola!

Happy 14th to my first baby, Lola Cola, who is no longer a baby and creeping into middle age.  It has been quite the year for this super star, finally she got the baby brother she always hoped for but also had a bad run in with some local dogs.  But my girl is tough (takes after Mum) and she is still full of beans and ready to take on the next year a head of her.
 Chicken lunch from Dad
 A night on the town

A beautiful sunset on the beach
Well I love this lady with all my heart.  I am sure she has felt a little neglected lately but I do think she knows that she is truly loved by us.  Happy Birthday Lola Cola!

Bye Bye Friends

What a fabulous week that just flew by.  It was so great having Babs, Scott and our new friend Aiden here with us.  They are such kind, generous, funny, loving people and we will all miss them terribly.  I just felt so honoured that they spent their one week holiday flying all the way out here to see us and meet Sebastian.  They left early this morning and the house is feeling very empty here with out them, Sebastian must be wondering why we are not in the car going on another adventure with his new best buddies.

One last afternoon at the beach before they were jetting off home back to their beautiful albeit very cold beach in Cornwall.
Lola was super happy to have almost all of her favourite people in the world together with her (just missing Asa).  She spent all her younger years with Babs and Scott so it was great to reunite them.

A nice evening of food and games.  I am definitely going to miss this lot!

Nai Harn and Phuket Town

We checked out of our Kata villa yesterday and went even further South to a fairly secret beach in Nai Harn.  The regular beaches are rammed packed even this early in the season.  This particular beach is not only a little out of the way but super beautiful.  Unfortunately, Luis had to leave early to work and did not make it to the beach with us.

After a couple hours here everyone was tuckered out and ready for home.
It was then my turn to take our guests out on the town so we headed to Phuket Town.  First stop was a reggae bar that played anything but reggae.

This bottle of Thai rum was labelled 1977, our birth years, a very special year indeed.
Bumped into some of the school crew and headed to the library.

As this bar tender is demonstrating this is not a regular library.  My first big night out and although I cannot see myself doing it again anytime soon I was super happy to be out with this lot.

Kata Villa

We took off down South yesterday for a two night mini break in Kata.  I found this villa online, beautiful location, pool, three bedrooms, takes dogs and possibly the best deal I have ever found.  At 100 pounds a night it is a steal, I just can't believe how nice it is.  When we arrived the owner immediately arranged massages for all who wanted and couldn't have been more friendly.  And even better when we arrived he said the weather had been horrible up until our arrival and now it is beautiful and up North (home) pouring with rain.
We could not have been happier upon arrival.

Best Turkish meal I have ever had.
 Just can't help it!

Last night the boys went to watch a Muay Thai fight, me and Babs got to use Sebastian as an excuse and stay home for a good catch up.
It is just lovely and I have not taken nearly enough pictures.  Just having the best time with them.  Aiden is properly fabulous and just wonderful have with us as well.

More Babs, Scott and Aiden Fun

We woke to another beautiful day on the island and had a day full of sun, massages, beaches, food and more food.
Family breakfast on the way to the beach.
Sebastian was super excited to try the new tent that they brought from England to protect him from the sun.

So excited he fell asleep before even getting in.
We arrived to the not so secret secret beach.
 Waking up with Dad

That evening we ran into this gem, always great to see Auntie Emma

Finished with a sunset cocktail before heading for dinner where we all ate way too much and I did not get a good picture.  Tomorrow we are heading off for more adventures down South.

Babs and Scott

Yipppppeeeee! They are finally here and I could not be more thrilled, Babs and Scott have arrived (and their friend Aiden who is fabulous).  Babs and Scott were my house mates back when I lived in Bruton.  We had some blinking brilliant times together.  I am so happy that they chose to spend their week holiday with us and have a week full of fun planned!

Great first day! Now they are all very toasty and red :) Love them!
