Every 10km run is hard for me, and this one was hard too. But the difference was it was a complete charity based run. No trophies and age group awards. Therefore, I could just go out and do my best without feeling the pressure of getting a trophy (I do not overly care, but Sebastian does!). I love the medal more than any one I have ever gotten and that is enough. Also, I realised even though people make fun of the fact I rarely leave my neighbourhood I have actually probably seen more tourist sites than most people I know and at the most beautiful sunrises. Again this run was all through the temples and victory monument, lots of beauty. I still swore under my breath the whole way through as to why I woke up at 3am to go through the pain. But then I got my pretty medal and all was better!
