I love when things just come together. We have not seen Asit or Charu properly in 2026. with our visitors and just the nature of this job from January to March there has been no time. Asit's birthday was on April 29th and I made sure to mark this occasion in school with his students. I brought in a small cake and we sang a song. Then that night Luis and myself went to dinner. We decided on a place we rarely go, and then changed tables to sit outside. And who did they sit us next to, Asit and Charu! It was such a perfect ending to our day and we were so happy to then have a birthday drink with them! I love when things like this happen.
