I cannot believe that Lola was 18 yesterday. An 18th person is pretty special to everyone but it felt a little extra special for Lola to reach this milestone. I actually felt fairly emotional about it in the morning, Lola and I have been through so much together. So I could not let the day pass without marking it with a party. She got lots of treats for her birthday and had a lovely day with family and friends.
She did not get a turn on the waterslide but the kids enjoyed it for her.
