Yesterday we had a much needed family day after a stressful week and my trip to Canada. We were very fortunate that the weather behaved as had a very rainy week and well you never know this time of the year. We were up early and off to the beach and then had a spot of lunch. Returning to our still not working, looking slightly like a pond pool to enjoy some cards, Indian and a movie together.

This is the worlds best mechanic, who would have been ready to retire at the end of the year with our cars, if he charged us properly. Very rarely do we have two cars actually on the road (although looks like we will tomorrow), one usually is having a rest at this shop.
Yesterday we dropped in to learn that Green Bean was all ready to go and also that the White Rider was about to explode due to a radiator leak. our mechanic spent an hour fixing the leak, filling up all the necessary fluids and checking over everything for free. In the end Luis insisted he take some money but the mechanic would not take more than 200 Baht (6 pounds, 7 dollars). A great family day and now Luis is getting all ready for his first day of work starting in half an hour (I am going to brunch!!).
