Spider Dog Back at it

Every country we have lived in Lola has done a little exploring on her own, so I do not why I did not see this one coming.  Especially as they are induced by a big clap of thunder or fireworks and as it is the vegetarian festival this week and the rainy season we have plenty of both.  They are always bad and stressful, and each one has aged me but this one was by far the worst one.  I could feel my hair turning grey the entire time she was gone.  And not only the length of time, almost 24 hours, but the fact that we have aggressive street dogs here, killer spiders, snakes, ridiculous drivers, it was pouring rain throughout the night and there were loads of fireworks.
Here is how it all began for us..
Yesterday we got home just after six to our locked house and she was not in it, no windows open or doors, it was crazy.  And even is she gets out of the house, our house has an eight foot cement fence around it.  The only thing we can see that she may have done, is push the sliding door open, as it is a bit broken at the side, but it is very heavy and we did not notice it open even a bit when we got home.  Even then she would have to make herself about three inches high to get under the car gate.  But either way she made it out.  We searched throughout the evening and night with some friends helping us and this morning printed two hundred flyers to distribute.
A friend was helping me put them up in a popular restaurant spot as my hope was an expat had picked her up (just more likely than Thai only as they view them more as pets) and there she was by a coffee shop we frequent. It is a 10 minute drive, at the least, along a major road.  It is pretty amazing that she made it.  I would love to be able to ask her what the heck she did for those hours.  I wonder if she went to the beach too.  But we shall never know.
Pretty happy to be home, washed and being totally spoilt.
Hoping to never EVER have to use these again, but holding on to them just in case..
Back together, our happy little family, soooo tired, all a little older but super thrilled!  OH, and the GPS collar tracker is on order!
