We decided to have Lola's big birthday party on Monday and just have a mini celebration last night. As football is more like a religion here, we thought it better to give Lola her own special party another day. So a few people came over to watch the game and toast Lola's ten years. We had a great night, celebrating Ecuador as their team went top of the table. It was great to watch in the comfort of our patio and still be able to hear all the cheers and celebrations from the nearby stadium. Lola was also very happy with her first birthday present and wore it with pride.
