Saba's 14th Birthday

I have knicknamed this month March Madness.  School is crazy with a million deadlines, I have signed up for 4 races, started my Masters and then there is Nadia's families birthdays.  Nadia, Saba and Zemi all have a birthday in the next few weeks.  March is just jam packed.  Tonight we went over to Nadia's for a couple of hours to celebrate the wonderful human, Saba.

Pool Party Fun Days

Although I am feeling busy, I still have to entertain Sebastian and the best way to do that is with pool parties.  I get to check two boxes with one stone, both me and Sebastian get to see some friends.  And as we had a holiday on Tuesday I had a pool party on Sunday and again on Tuesday.  A Tuesday off seemed like such a waste but actually it was great.  It meant Monday felt like a Monday and a Friday and then today a Monday but yet a Wednesday!  And really I will take any holiday given.

DonTan Bangkok Run

This run was huge.  I could not believe the amount of people.  I have not seen anything like that for ages.  What was very surprising is that they only had 1-3rd overall and no age categories.  And usually when 1000's of people they at the very least have the top 5.  The long and short is that I now know the devastation people must feel when they get 4th at the Olympics!  Well not really, but it must leave a bit of a bitter sweet taste in their month.  I came 4th, btu with no age category I should be happy.  My prize a stuffed turtle! A cute one but still not a trophy!

I was a bit sad! But love my turtle :)

Week of Friends Dropping In

I am so behind in the blog!  In my head I had decided to do a Masters and then in two years I will change job.  What I did not anticipate was actually having to do the work.  On top of the busiest school I have ever worked at, Sebastian, running and just regular life things, I feel stretched.  Nonetheless, it was great to take two time outs to see two different friends who were in Bangkok for conferences.

Lyndsey visiting from Vietnam.  She moved there from NIST two years ago. It was lovely to see her and catch up on life.
And Chris visiting from Prague.  He lived with me in Bruton for a semester and was a big influence on my to start this International teaching career. That is one of the greateset things about Bangkok is the number of people I am able to see.
