Bangkok Comedy Club Anniversary Night

This was our third time at the Comedy Club and I think the best so far.  There was a bit of everything, improv, stand up and even a 'magician'. It was a little awkward at the beginning as there were some super drunk Brits behind us that were yelling out at everything.  I felt so sorry for the performers.  Luckily, they left half way through, I think they were too drunk to stay any longer.   I felt so embarrassed and we had not even done anything.  It certainly was nice to get out of the building and do something together.

This guy was super funny.  French/Thai and his 'magic' was very funny!

I also like the pub it is.  Cheaper beverages, and just a a nice atmosphere.

Jane's Cookie and Treat Wine Night

Before last night's wine club I was struggling to find someone to do October, now it will be impossible.  Jane does not do anything by halves and makes me look like the worst hostess (something I pride myself on).  I have no idea how she does it.  Last night she had 14 different stations of wine.  Each wine she paired with a vegan and non-vegan treat.  It was crazy.  The food was so good and the pairings perfect.

There were twenty plus people there and we are now expanding to non NISTIES.  We have ladies from the UN, UNICEF and other schools.  We are going to ahve to find some bigger venues.

Lola day @ Craft Cafe Kimpton Malai

Lola used to have a lot more air time on this blog.  In fact, the blog was actually for our adventures and along the way we picked up Luis and Sebastian.  She is featured a lot less not because I do not  yesterday adore her but mainly as she finds a day out very tiring.  But we do like to try and get her out of our neighbourhood at least once a week.  And yesterday was just such a wonderful day, we took her to Craft Cafe a very friendly dog place.  She was ridiculously happy, which made all of us equally as happy.

Lola made some friends.  They have some very upscale, classy dog customers here. Lola was by far the classiest of course, she does not require all the diamond collars that the others might have!

Sebastian and myself enjoyed a game of tag throughout the beautiful grounds.

Lola had a wonderful time and then went home and slept solidly for several hours, a sign of a happy doggie.

Mahanakhon Skywalk Bangkok

Luis has wanted to visit this place before we even moved here.  Last week he finally made it happen and bought tickets for us to go up yesterday.  After a morning at the park Sebastian was less than thrilled to go in the afternoon.  It was quite the fight to get him out the door but in the end he loved it and it was quite the fight to get him out.  In fact, he just told me this morning that it was the best day of his life.  The views from 314 meters of Bangkok were stunning.  It was a really nice evening out.

Sebastian and Mummy were super brave on the glass, dancing and jumping.  Luis not so much, I think it was fairly stressful for him to watch us.

Sebastian was desperate to go again this morning!

Sebastian was dancing the entire time! So fun!

Football and Benjakitti Park

Saturday morning football is quite the rush as we have to be there at 7:45.  And this morning was even more so after a late night for Sebastian last night.  But we made it just in time and for the first time he enjoyed himself the entire time.  To be fair he was also super excited as I arranged a picnic after football with his best buddy, Izaak.  It was a lovely morning action packed so we are back home now resting up before the next adventure.

They were very happy to win 5 nil.  To be honest they had two killer players and the ball rarely made it down their end. But they were very happy to get the win.

A new park, this one is super close and hopefully we will make it here many more weekends.
