We are having a mini Bahamas reunion here on Lanta, as Chris, Kerry and Terry have joined us.  Same party, different beach.  

Home Away from Home

After Christmas celebrations wrapped up we said goodbye to Jacqui and Mark for a short time and headed to our favourite spot. Koh Lanta has been our favourite destination since we moved to Thailand in 2016.  It has become our home away from home. Great food, people and just general vibe. We arrived for an eight day holiday and could not be happier.  I also realise I am so much like my father when I cannot help pointing out that these eights days cost 250 pounds. Amazing!

Christmas Day 2024

This is one of those posts that says it all.  What an amazing Christmas Day.  My forced fun and games went down a treat.  It was brilliant.

Christmas Eve 2024

I love having guests for Christmas.  We had a small Christmas Eve celebration with Jacqui and Mark and then hours of wrapping.  

Then time for bed in hopes that Father Christmas comes.

 

Bangkok Reunion

After an amazing holiday we returned to Bangkok for a big reunion.  Jacqui flew in for Christmas, Terry from our time in The Bahamas and Mark Russo who I worked with in Basel and Quito.  We all met up for an night out, every school I have worked in was represented and it was amazing. We had a grand time showing Terry around Bangkok (first timer).  Mark looked around the neighbourhood as he will be working at NIST with us next year.

It was good practice for Christmas!
