Dream World and Saba Dance Recital

We took Sebastian here in our first year in Bangkok.  The Thailand much smaller version of Disneyland.  BUT the best value for money ever.  This time it was so much better with Sebastian as he could do so many rides.  We went with his bestie/bride to be, Zoe and some other kiddos and they had a blast.  He loved the log flume and the 'space mountain' roller coaster.  They also had a an amazing stunt show and the five minutes we spent in the freezing cold snow world.  After our day at Dream World, we rushed back to Bangkok to see Saba's dance recital.  I had no idea how impressive it would be.  It was at a grand theatre and I felt very underdressed (even though I did throw on a dress).  Next year I will know better!

Sebastian was super excited to see Saba all dressed up and give her her flowers.  He did amazingly well, we left at 8:20am and got home at 8pm!

Newbie Boat Cruise

Luis's newbie boat cruise was nothing like our boat cruise.  The school went with a different company, which I suspect they will not use again.  It was perfectly average. Mainly as the boat just had us in tables for dinner and then took us right back to the dock.  No time for mingling with each other or looking at the river sights.  I took some nice pictures at the start but that was it.  As it happened I sat with someone's parents and I loved them.  By the end of the dinner cruise we were best friends for life.  Tony, the date was from the UK but also immigrated to Canada.  He was the same age as my father, was born in London during the war, was an only child and was so lovely.  So I was happy chatting with him but certainly made no new teacher pals.

As we got off the boat at 8pm, me and Luis went for a quick drink at a roof top bar close to home before bedtime.
