The Old Sailors

A lovely summers day greeted us on day two of Cornwall.  Well it was if you enjoy cloudy and cold for a summers day!  But nothing could stop us, we had another magical day together.  We had morning at a farm (well like petting zoo place) with playgrounds and food.  Then had a beautiful coastal walk.  We then went to an event at their old restaurant.  It was properly amazing.  Sebastian danced the night away and we all had a great night.  We were there for a performance of 'The Old Sailors', a band of 23 and they were brilliant.

Babs and Scott

Monday we flew back to Bristol, picked up the car and headed to Cornwall to see Babs and Scott.  More specifically to Mawgan Porth, a truly magical spot.  We started with lunch and some time in the sea.

Sebastian was super excited and got right in.

These are two of the finest people in the entire world for sure.  We had lots of laughs and fun on day one of our Cornish adventure.

Our final full day in Scotland did not disappoint.  We spent the morning at the museum.  It is free and brilliant.  Sebastian was just super excited to run around and play in the play area.  We would have liked to spend a little more time looking around and actually learning but it is all about boss baby (aka Sebastian).

What a treat seeing these two in Edinburgh!  They are close to us in Malaysia but have not gotten to see them as much as we would like.  A lovely catch up.

Our Scotland adventure came to an end after three full days and nights.  We enjoyed every minute.  The Scottish Garwood clan are amazing and we look forward to many more adventures with them.

City Tour and Garwood BBQ

Saturday was a beautiful summers day in Scotland and Sunday we woke up to a wintery day in Scotland!  But it did not stop us having a glorious day in the city.  We took the open bus tour, which Sebastian loved, and had a lovely day.  We then returned home and the sun came out for our BBQ.  Another great day.

Luis is loving the Garwood family!  It has been too long and we have had such a nice time catching up with them.  Richard brings back so many memories of my father and he has so many stories to tell.

Edinburgh, Scotland

Saturday morning we were up at the crack of dawn and soon on a plane to Edinburgh to see the Garwood cousins.  After preparing Luis and Sebastian for a wintery welcome it was a glorious summers day.  Luis fell in love with the place instantly and we had a great day catching up with Morven, Michael, Mae, Joel, Richard and Fiona.

An amazing first day.  Sebastian felt right at home and we all had a lovely day/evening in the sun.
