Pool Party and Blue Parrot

The rest of the weekend was all about Sebastian fun.  Saturday we had a pool party at our building.  I love the people in my building and feel lucky to have such a close community.  It is great to go down, share some food, have a little music and catch up.  Sebastian loves these days.

A fun evening that continued at our flat after kids went to bed.

Sunday was Sebastian's class year end party at Blue Parrot.  We started off the year here as well.  Sebastian has come so long since then.  Looking back to that first party here he was in water wings.  Now he is swimming the full length.  A nice end to the weekend.

NISTIE Drinks The Cooling Tower

Friday! And our last New to NIST event.  The school treated us to an evening of cocktails at a roof top bar called The Cooling Tower.  Probably a few hundred roof top bars in Bangkok but we are slowly checking them off!

Scarlet Wine Club

Last night was the last BLWC for the year.  Wine Club number 6 had a great first year.  The members are plus 30, we have learnt a lot, laughed more and had some lovely times together.  Last night we said goodbye to two leaving members, Dee and Melissa.  And I am hoping next year to welcome some news one.

We had dinner at a place called Scarlet's wine bar.  Great views and wine.

Finished off at a great little Jamaican bar down the road from our building.  Being a little rude here!

Sunday Funday at Craft

I have wanted to come here for ages as it is super dog friendly.  We were dog sitting for the weekend, so it seemed the perfect time to try it out.  It was lovely with a lot of green space and spoiling of all types of pets.  I should have taken more pictures, as comparatively Lola has a pretty rough life. 

We have found our new weekend spot :)

Standard Saturday Mexican

After a wonderful morning at the hospital. Sebastian said he had the best day ever as Mum and Dad got health check ups.  All the money we spend on 'Bounce' or play parks and turns out a day of appointments is far better.  You might also notice in the pictures below his casts are missing!  We then got home and made our standard meal for some of our friends in the building.  A fun night of food and games. 

Unexpected Dinner

Sometimes you just have to jump on opportunity.  Sebastian getting a late afternoon playdate, Nin bringing her baby for all to see, allowed us the opportunity to hit the big old city till night fall.

First, we checked out a new roof top bar.  It is amazing what is on top of these buildings.  And with no pollution, Bangkok is the best.

Then over to Tony's, one of my favourite dinner spots.  Yippee for spontaneous evenings!

BLWC Part 2

We spent the night at a hotel close by and spent a glorious morning by the pool.  And then I left back to the chaos... a broken cast and another hospital trip!

Back to reality!  A short and needed break from it!
