Sunday Pool Day

Quite a few of the hotels do day pass.  About 30 pounds, and you can use everything for the day and get 40 pounds back in food and drink credit.  I think it is. great deal and I intend to take more advantage of these deals.

A great afternoon.

Then the boys got ready for an 11pm kick off of the world cup and Ecuador.  Luis has been so excited to see his team play.  I loved having them here and will miss them loads now that they are continuing their travels.  And there is noway I am letting that much time go by again.

Saturday Adventures - St. Andrew's Fair Day

Saturday there was a lot to do.  I obviously had a pretty tight itinerary written to ensure maximum fun.  We had to do a water taxi to the older part of the city and some exploring, we went to Luis's school fair and then dinner and a night out had to be done.  I can tell you that maximising fun on a Saturday is a little more challenging when too much fun was had on Friday but we pulled it off.

The water taxi is not far away, at the end of our road and super convenient.  Runs like a bus.

We then went to see Daddy and Sebastian loved flying the rocket, playing the games and especially making slime.

It was then time for some adult time, so we hit the town.  A fun night out in Bangkok.

Pia and Chris(tine)

I was so excited for their arrival.  I have not seen Pia in three years and Chris in 5 years.  They have both not changed a bit.  They have not aged a minute and are still as amazing as ever.  I was so excited when they arrived at ours Friday night. We had dinner and catch up at home and then I took them out.

A brilliant weekend lies ahead.

Carys and Ed, School and Abandoned Mansion

I am a week behind with the blog!  It has been such a busy week and this week looks the same.  Last Tuesday we had Carys and Ed visit from Grand Bahama.  We had a great night with them and look to welcoming them back tomorrow for a few nights.  The rest of the week I was trying to get ahead for Pia and Chris's arrival.

A few shots around school on a beautiful day.
They were only with us one night but returning tomorrow. It was great to see them and look forward to catching up again.

Thursday night we went out to this cool underground jazz club, the Abandoned Mansion.  We will definitely go back on one of their busier nights.

The Birthday Continues

Asit and Charu joined us at a restaurant outside of the city called Sweet Poppy.  It was a nice green spot for Lola to enjoy the grass and also a playground for Sebastian.  We enjoyed a lovely veggie brunch, the food was super special.  Some unique dishes that we all enjoyed.

Sebastian in his shirt from Charu's recent trip to India.

Lola was exhausted after her weekend full of birthday adventures.  I think she will probably sleep until Wednesday.

Happy 17th Birthday Lola Cola

My little girl can now get into Harbour Lights!  A big moment for many ladies in Barbados.  If Lola ever makes it there she will now be able to go out all night.  She is amazingly in good health and spirits for her age (117 in human years).  We decided to take her on an out of city adventure and ventured to the closest beach to us.

I had to throw this Friday dress up shot.  We went to a neighbour for a wine/play date and the girls dressed him up.  He loved it.

Ban Saen Beach

Sticky rice in bamboo, loved it.

We were definitely the only foreigners and it was wonderfully authentically Thai (all the food, things to buy, drinks).  Sebastian had a blast.

And Lola too!! She loves all the smells at the beach and this one did not disappoint.
