Weekend Antics

A lovely weekend with Sinead, Peter, Alison and Simon.  By the end of it we had almost run out of things to say to each other! Friday we met at Banana Bay (as usual), Saturday we had a beach evening together and Sunday we went to brunch at one of the hotels that has recently opened back up.

Beautiful at Banana Bay as always

Saturday evening in the beautiful water.  I am definitely enjoying these hotter days much more.

As usual the company was great and the food was average at best.  This day was particularly frustrating with a large amount of screw ups.  But the company and day was a beautiful so I am trying to let it go!  I think we have really learnt that just staying at ours or going to a friends house is the way forward.

Rose Wine Night

This one was pretty spectacular.  Hosted by three ladies, Rosie, Shea and Melissa.  It was pretty amazing on the beach and they even had a pod of dolphins swim by for a show (there might have been some luck involved with this part)!  The theme was pink and the wine was rose.  It was a lovely evening, and I am really not sure how I or anyone will ever match this one.

One of my favourite days of the month for sure.

Bye Bye Des, Adam and Baby Sage

The last few days with Des and family were amazing and it was very sad to see them go.  We had such a wonderful time and it really made me feel like I will be able to see all my loved ones soon.  Baby Sage grew so much in the two weeks, it was quite amazing.  And Sebastian just loved him more and more every day.

Sunday we babysit for a bit.  Sage was absolutely fine, Sebastian cried and cried for Des.

We met Will and Ali for a final drink before Will left on Sunday.

Monday we woke up to the most beautiful day and just made the most of it.

It was Sinead's birthday so we crashed her house and had a great time in the pool.

We went home to watch the sunset and have a final meal together.

And today I dropped them off at the airport.  What a super sad day and what a wonderful time we had with them.  Until the next time, we love you guys!

Sebastian's Magic Chair

It is pretty safe to say that I have not been this proud of myself for sometime.  I have spent the last year secretly thinking about this book, writing this book, designing this book and putting it all together.  Unfortunately, the first few prints had some mistakes but now have finished my 9th and I believe best version on Friday I can say I am very happy with it.   Sebastian's Magic Chair is all about his first year of life in Thailand and the adventures we had.  I am also so honoured to have so many amazing friends and family all over the world who have since finding out about the book have rallied behind it, I can say it has made me very humbled, lucky and special.

Yesterday I finally got to see a copy as Peter brought me some back from the US.  It is really just for Sebastian but I felt very special when Sinead had us over for some bubbles to celebrate it.

A photo shot of everyone reading on the beach. Super sweet!

Prefect Beach Des and Family Days

We have had the best few beach days.  The weather has been lovely and the water just looks amazing.  Baby Sage has grown loads in these two weeks, it is quite amazing.  Sebastian is totally in love with Des.  He still has very few words but one of them is a perfectly said 'Des'.  He says no other names, except Bruce.  Tonight Adam and Des went on a short date while we had the kids, Sage was okay, Sebastian cried and cried for Des.  Their imminent departure should be fun!

Glorious days with some pretty fabulous people.
