Matt's Photography

And then there was one..  Matt left us this morning and now it is just us and Shelagh.  I think he had a great time and it was wonderful to have him there. Plus I have learnt so much about how to use the camera on my phone, I just cannot believe how much I did not know how to do.   I think I will be able to shed ten years off my life.

These are a few pictures that he took that I love!

Khlong Jark Waterfall

Yesterday we made an attempt to see a beautiful waterfall having been assured that it was a suitable trek for a baby and Lola.  It was certainly a beautiful trek but definitely not for Sebastian or Lola.  We did make it quite far but then the remainder of the trek was in a pretty deep river which might have been okay had the monkeys not surrounded us gunning for Lola.  Me and Luis then made the decision to turn back and let the others continue (they loved it).  Thank goodness we did that as we were only minutes out of the jungle and it started pouring rain.

We did stop for a little bit so Sebastian could get his feet in.

Most of our evenings have been spent at this lovely place next door to our huts.  Fantastic fireshow that I have to steal pictures from Matt to put on tomorrow.

Lanta and Ko Rok

We have had a couple of beautiful days here which has been perfect for some sunning, paddle boarding and exploring.

First full day here just chilling at the beach

Yesterday me and Matt had a day out to properly catch up.  We went to a near by island called Ko Rock.  Very beautiful, but probably too long of a day for me away form Sebastian.  But it was still very nice :)
Matt enjoying loads of fish every meal.  Great couple of days.

Lanta Days

Any excuse to get back to our favourite Thailand spot and having Matt and Shelagh here seemed like a good one.  We love coming here and are so excited to share our favourite spot with some of my favourite people.

Just before leaving, a few shots of Unlce Matt with Sebastian and Sebastian just having fun.

We arrived safely after some excellent driving by myself and Mr. Watson, enjoyed a few beers, some food and a stunning sunset.  Love Lanta!

4 Months and Tatonka

How time flies!  I cannot believe Sebastian is four months already.  I can totally see why everyone tells me to cherish this time, it just goes by so fast.  Unfortunately his four month celebration included some vaccinations but he handled them like a champ.   I

His favourite thing to do, some swimming

And then the adults went out to dinner at one of our favourites, Tatonka.   great four month Sebastian birthday day.

Shelagh's Night

Both Shelagh and Matt went on their own mini break over the last few days.  Shelagh to the North and Matt to the South.  Shelagh returned yesterday and Matt sometime today.  It almost felt weird not having anyone here the last few days as we are getting so use to having visitors, it was just a tad too quiet.  It was great to welcome Shelagh back after her adventure especially as she made us dinner.

Very scrumptious pasta dish, who knows maybe next time I go to Bruton there will be a 'Shelagh's Kitchen'.

Italian Night

Matt was not even here 24 hours before I put him to work.  But I really can't have another chef come and go without taking advantage of them (Scott got away with it).  So we had a bit of a treat last night with Matt preparing an extra special meal for some of our friends last night, he even brought all the ingredients from his restaurant in Bruton (Matt's Kitchen, fantastic place if ever in Somerset).

Researching the restaurant.  Turns out I was in the Daily Mail in one of the write ups about his restaurant and what it was before it was a restaurant (his home).  It is not my best picture!
Shelagh very kindly gave me this t-shirt (referring to the super rich really).

Matt Watson

Visitor month continues with the arrival of Matt Watson last night.  Not only is it a month full of people but all from my Bruton days, which also happens to be my favourite place.  Matt visited me loads in Switzerland, came to our wedding and now we are super happy to have him here with us.

And a little beach time before we put him to work to prepare dinner tonight for some of our friends.  It is great to have them here!
